About me
Carly Rosenstein grew up as an active member of LA Hebrew High School, USY, and Jewish day camps. She holds a BA in Psychology and minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA and an MA in Education Policy and Administration from Loyola Marymount University. Carly currently serves as the Director of the Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Education and Special Projects at Builders of Jewish Education where she supports a network of 50 Jewish ECCs through professional development and networking. She also helps Jewish day schools access government funding. Prior to joining BJE, Carly served as the Assistant Director of Education at Temple Akiba of Culver City working with both the ECC and religious school. Throughout her career, Carly has served in a variety of educational settings, including teaching middle school in Watts, CA through Teach for America, teaching elementary school at the American International School in Jerusalem, and teaching religious school for many years. Carly’s passion lies in working with educators to bring the best possible educational environment for young children. In her free time, Carly enjoys decorating cookies and spending time with her husband and two children.
