About me
Ely Benhamo (she/her) is a seasoned leader in Jewish communal service, boasting a wealth of experience in driving impactful change and fostering meaningful connections within the community. As Senior Director of Major Gifts at OneTable, Ely plays a pivotal role in developing and overseeing OneTable's national individual giving program, ultimately enabling more people to build community and connection through Shabbat. Previously, Ely spent six years strengthening the pro-Israel community while working to grow AIPAC’s donor base in both the Pacific Northwest and Florida regions. Most recently, she served as their East Bay and Sacramento Area Director. Ely actively contributes to various community engagement and diversity initiatives. She is the board chair of Jewtina y Co., the leading organization deepening ties and belonging within Latin Jews. She also co-chairs DLead’s Senior Major Gifts cohort. While in San Francisco, Ely was a Moishe House resident and served on JWI YWIN’s board. Ely is a first-generation American who graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a Minor in Jewish Studies. A Miami native, Ely currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
