About me
Rebecca Zimilover creates opportunities for donors to embrace Israel, the global Jewish community, and tikkun olam. A Senior Development Officer for JDC, Rebecca facilitates values-driven philanthropy and is particularly interested in developing intergenerational channels of support for JDC’s work around the world. Rebecca gained solid experience in community relations before joining JDC in 2022. As a regional director of Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF), she facilitated major gifts and provided expert guidance to philanthropists who wanted to share in the development of the land of Israel. Prior her JNF role, Rebecca rose through the ranks at UJA-Federation of New York, where she pioneered bold initiatives to engage broad, under-involved segments of the New York Jewish community with UJA’s work. Rebecca holds a BA in English from City University of New York, an MSW in Social Work from Columbia University, and an MA in Judaic Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Rebecca lives in Westchester, NY with her husband, two children, and an active dog. She enjoys volunteering on her local synagogue's Board of Directors, and at her children's day school, where she supports their advancement and fundraising efforts.
